Did you buy this car new or used?

New

How much did you pay? (including all on-road costs)

67000

What were your needs when you bought this car? Has it fulfilled those needs?

Mainly a work ute, needs to tow well, go off road, handle well and be comfortable. Must be reliable. Yes it's great for all these. Very settled on road, tows well, good fuel economy compared to my other Utes.

What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.

I was replacing a 2014 model that was an excellent ute. Strong and reliable, I love the Isuzus. Comfortable and good fuel economy.

What have you discovered since owning the car?

All the modern safety aids are a pain, especially the lane departure system. There is a button you can press to turn it off but has to be done every time you start the car.

What do you like/dislike about the car?

Like: Handling, sits really good on the road, power delivery is great, not the highest power and torque figures on the market but I think in the real world they deliver the power the best, fantastic on towing 3 tonne loads. Dislikes; safety systems, they are too aggressive.

Lastly, would you buy this vehicle again?

Yes

Why would/wouldn't you buy it again?

Reliability is key, these Utes absorb any punishment and keep going, they are excellent on and off road. They are overpriced really, in Australia they win heaps of the reviews because they are equal or better than the competition and are cheaper. In NZ they are too expensive so only really get people who love the brand buying them.
