What were your needs when you bought this car? Has it fulfilled those needs?
I had an Audi A3 but as I was nearing 80 and being 6'2 tall I was finding it a bit difficult to get in and out quickly .The Q2 was taller and all round more roomy . It has the perfect dimensions tall enough for me but not so big as to be a handful for my wife who is not a confident driver
What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.
It had all the features I had got used to on the A3 i.e good handling, excellent braking good interior finish with the added bonus of a larger reversing camera and paddle gear shift .We have many roads around us with a 60 and 80k limits and the cruise control is invaluable as modern cars do tend to creep up in speed if your mind wanders
What have you discovered since owning the car?
little features like the light intensity increasing on the side of your turn as you make a low speed turn at night 1.e into a dark driveway. all lights come on when you activate the key on approaching your vehicle at night and the delay in shutting off lights until you are well clear . I get around 6ltrs per 100km around town and just over 5 on a trip which is equal to most hybrids
What do you like/dislike about the car?
leg room in the back seat is tight for tall adults . I would prefer to be on 91 octane petrol as its cheaper !. It has the European set up where the engine shuts down at the traffic lights and that has to be manually overridden every trip .Also the doors lock automatically and that has to be overridden manually on the drivers door to let a passenger in and this function cant be deleted in the menu .Nothing serious just mildly annoying at the same level as most modern cars which nag you constantly with their incessant chiming
Any other comments on the car?
All my working life a had company cars mainly fords Audi make cars that are just that little bit better in every area regrettably they are moving the spec up with future releases which is tending to take them out of the reach of the average punter which is a shame as you can get used to the extra bit of detail and comfort

Lastly, would you buy this vehicle again?
No
Why would/wouldn't you buy it again?
I think the time has come for all of us to seriously consider moving to electric vehicles .I am not convinced that the charging infrastructure is currently adequate but the demand will push this and the more ev's on the road ,the harder the push will be to supply the demand for better charging outlet cover
