- Zeekr's tech flagship, the 7X, launched in three models.
- Performance version does 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds.
- Three Zeekr models now on sale in NZ: X, 7X and 009.
New Zealand distributor for Chinese brand Zeekr, NordEast, has completed its launch portfolio with confirmation of pricing and specification for the new 7X SUV.

Zeekr is part of the Geely group, which NordEast also represents through Geely-branded models, Volvo, Polestar, Lotus and Farizon.
Zeekr is performance/luxury focused. While 7X will not be the most expensive vehicle in the local Zeekr lineup (that's the 009 super-luxury people mover), it's certainly the hero model for the brand: the newest with the latest technology, including a "golden battery" that is future-proofed with 800v architecture and can charge at up to 450kW (much faster than DC technology currently available in NZ).
“The Zeekr 7X is a game-changer for NZ drivers," says brand manager Michael Jones. "With global sales of more than 520,000 vehicles, Zeekr has quickly established itself as one of the most innovative and successful premium electric brands in the world."

The 7X will be available in in an entry RWD model at $69,990, Long Range for $79,990 and the Performance AWD at $94,990.
The RWD and Long-Range models have a single 310kW/440Nm motor in the rear axle, with estimated range figures of 480km and 615km respectively. The Performance model makes 475kW/710Nm.

The RWD uses Zeekr’s Golden Battery, a 75kWh pack, while Long Range and Performance models have a 100kWh pack.
"The 7X enters the mid-sized premium SUV segment, which is now the largest premium segment in the country," says NordEast general manager Dane Fisher. "It's [also] just surpassed 50% full electric penetration. So there's never been a better time to launch a car like the 7X."

There are five Zeekr dealers, in Tauranga, Wellington, Hamilton and Christchurch.
"This week we also launch phase one of a multi-phase flagship approach at 138 Great North Road [Auckland]," says Fisher. "It's a big moment and shows how important Zeekr is to us.

"We're launching not just a car but a brand, which we believe will redefine what premium electric mobility is in NZ and will set the stage for a bold electric future."
The Zeekr lineup for NZ currently comprises the X compact-SUV ($59,900-$69,900), 7X medium-SUV ($69,990-$94,990) and 009 people-mover ($149,900-$154,900). The X and 009 are available now; the 7X is open for pre-order, with those placed before the end of November coming with a 3-year free service plan.
Since Zeekr began delivering vehicles globally in October 2021, the brand has delivered over 520,000 vehicles to date including the 001, 001 FR, 009, X, 007, 7X, MIX and 7GT.
