The Lego world is clearly packed with undercover car enthusiasts.
The much loved company are dipping their toes more and more into the automotive world, with products like that enormous 1:8 scale Porsche 911, and promotional campaigns like this year's Chevrolet Silverado commercial.
And on top of those is the onslaught of full, 1:1-scale motoring recreations like this FK8-generation Honda Civic Type R.
The wild, winged hot hatch took professional builder Ryan McNaught and his nine-strong Australian team over 1,300 hours to construct.
While it doesn't actually drive or roll, it does come with the impressive distinction of having functional lights all round. This is particularly noteworthy because, apart from the steel frame used as a base, no special custom parts were used in its contruction.
