It's been speculated that this forthcoming season of The Grand Tour (Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond's post-Top-Gear show, for those somehow still out of the loop) could be the last

If it is, the show looks to be going out on a rather literal bang.

A trailer for the new season dropped overnight, featuring a clues to a multitude of three-car battles that are coming in the episodes ahead. Muscle cars ('Pony cars', if you want to be pedantic) in Detroit, old off-roaders in Columbia, curious classics in Mongolia, a challenge between the Lamborghini Urus and Porsche 911 in Sweden, and more. Check the trailer out in full above.

While The Grand Tour is potentially preparing to bid us farewell if rumours are to be believed, Top Gear is preparing to air its last season with Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris, and Rory Reid at the helm.

As revealed in November, LeBlanc and Reid will be stepping away from full-time hosting duties (LeBlanc citing fatigue and Reid shifting to a less central role). They will be replaced by former cricketer Freddie Flintoff and comedian Paddy McGuinness.
