The first glimpses of 2DIE4: 24 Horas no Limite are here, and it’s more than your typical racing teaser.
The new international trailer for this drama-action film that is part cinema, part real-race chronicle has been rolling out as anticipation builds for its big-screen bow later in the year.
Inside the cockpit at full throttle

Filmmakers André and Salomão Abdala, the Abdala Brothers, have taken an unusual tack with 2DIE4: instead of staged set pieces or fictional circuits, the camera follows Brazilian racer Felipe Nasr and his co-drivers as they contest the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race.
The approach was simple and bold. As André explained during its CCXP25 unveiling, the film avoids traditional filmmaking conventions, instead embracing the raw, all-or-nothing tension of real competition.
Shot with one of only three specialised IMAX cameras in existence, the project is shaping up as a rare blend of documentary rigour and cinematic storytelling. The directors say their intention was to keep the visuals honest: what you see on screen is what happened on track.
Born to be big… IMAX big

One of the standout talking points from the early promotional cycle is the film’s format. 2DIE4 has been confirmed as the first Brazilian production captured for IMAX release, positioning it to exploit the massive screens and immersive sound that format demands. The April 2026 launch across IMAX venues is being handled by O2 Play, and promises audiences a visceral experience of endurance racing rarely attempted outside motorsport documentaries.
Across the trailer and behind-the-scenes content, the emphasis is on authenticity: real drivers, real speed, real consequences – a choice that could make 2DIE4 one of the more compelling motorsport films to hit screens in years. While exact runtime and wider release details are yet to be disclosed, the buzz is building fast as the countdown to Le Mans-inspired action begins.
