Academy Award winner Jared Leto is ready to unleash a terrifying performance as the Joker in next years Suicide Squad, and now he’s got a very sweet set of wheels to chase down the Batmobile.
Earlier this year footage was captured of Leto, Margot Robbie, and a stuntman dressed as Batman racing through the streets of Toronto in a flashy purple exotic sports car. With the new movie just around the corner, that car’s manufacturer,Vaydor Exotics, is set to make a big splash.
The brainchild of customiser Matt McEntegart, Vaydor Exotics is a customized kit producer who have put a brand new spin on the exotic car market. Developed out of McEntergart’s desire for a car that was ‘aggressive, angry, and low to the ground’ Vaydor allows anyone to convert a standard 2003 – 2006 Nissan Skyline coupe (specifically the US market's Infiniti G35 Coupe) into a stunning exotic car thanks to its fabricated body shells which conform to the donor car's chassis.
Further customisation can include custom paint, and the bespoke suede leather interiors.
The package allows anyone to have an exotic supercar for the comparably paltry price of around $60,000 US.
McEntegart’s totally unique car started to make the rounds at car festivals, and caught the eye of Suicide Squad’s producers who wanted something different for the Joker in the upcoming movie.
While we’ve only seen a glimpse of it in the first look trailer its part of a large action set piece that will be crucial to the plot, and which we’ll see more of as the film’s marketing campaign gets underway next year before its release on August 4, 2016.
