Jaguar meets Cybertruck in a futuristic design experiment.

Jaguar meets Cybertruck in a futuristic design experiment.

In late 2024, Jaguar unveiled its Type 00 concept, an electric sedan prototype that boldly redefined the British marque's design philosophy

With an avant-garde design language that breaks free from Jaguar's traditional aesthetic cues, the Type 00 has sparked intense industry debate. Its sharp angles, daring lines and futuristic presence have solidified it as a conversation starter.

But while Jaguar has pushed boundaries, Tesla's Cybertruck arguably shattered them altogether.

With its angular, stainless steel exterior and unapologetically industrial design, Tesla's Cybertruck has become a defining symbol of automotive disruption, dividing opinions while undeniably pushing boundaries in mainstream vehicle production.

An unapologetic industrial aesthetic and near-identical transition from concept to production have allowed the Cybertruck to set an unprecedented design benchmark.

Studio Enemy, a forward-thinking design studio, took on the challenge of merging two titans into a single daring concept: the Jaguar Cybertruck.

This digital mash-up fuses the Tesla Cybertruck's geometric structure with Jaguar Type 00's design flourishes.

At the front, the Jaguar's split LED headlamps dominate, now diagonally aligned for added dramatic flair. A faux grille and sculpted bumper bring additional sophistication, contrasting Tesla's minimalist design ethos.

The signature sloping roofline of the Cybertruck remains intact, while the absence of rear doors elongates the vehicle’s silhouette.

To complete the transformation, Studio Enemy replaced Tesla’s divisive plastic aero wheel covers with the elegant alloy rims seen on the Jaguar Type 00 concept. The rear fascia mirrors the Jaguar's radical horizontal light slats, accentuated by pronounced LED light bars and a retractable tonneau cover.

Tesla’s Cybertruck has famously remained true to its concept roots, which is a rare feat in the automotive industry.

Jaguar, on the other hand, is expected to tone down some of the more dramatic Type 00 design cues for its eventual road-going electric sedan. Still, the production model is anticipated to retain much of the concept's core identity.

While the Jaguar Cybertruck hybrid remains a digital design study, it serves as a bold reminder of the industry’s creative possibilities when imagination runs wild.
