Big Boot is available in all 11 Uber cities in NZ.

Rolling out across all 11 New Zealand cities Uber currently operates in, Uber Big Boot connects riders with SUVs and vans that offer 500l or more of boot space. It’s the first time Uber has introduced this service in the Asia-Pacific region.

Eligible drivers will be automatically opted in, so they can choose to access the new stream of trips or opt out.

Uber Big Boot will launch in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Dunedin, Palmerston North, Napier-Hastings, Queenstown, Tauranga, New Plymouth, and Nelson.

According to Uber, in 202, travellers took more than 2.8 million trips to and from NZ airports. It estimates this contributed NZ$67 million in additional tourism spending.
