Redesigning classic cars is an extremely controversial trend that has got just as many haters as it does supporters.
Chasing the success that Singer received for its work with the Porsche 911, a company by the name of Casil Motors has taken the angle grinder to a few older Ferrari models, turning them into wide-bodied monsters.
Revealing their first Ferrari 328 creation at SEMA late last year, the BB3X8 FDP was certainly a showstopper.
Complete with an extremely wide set of overfenders made from a combination of kevlar and carbon fibre, the BB3X8 is the perfect combination of classic 1980's styling and modern day "hotboi" modification. The build also features airbag suspension, ridiculously wide Rotiform wheels, and custom front and rear bumpers which have been widened to match the fenders.
While this example has been painted in a stunning grey, Casil motors have confirmed that their customers will be able to spec their cars to their liking.
Casil Motor's work on the 328 isn't just skin deep either, they have invested a lot of time into perfecting the 3.2-litre naturally aspirated V8 that comes standard with the car.
Adding custom individual throttle bodies as well as a number of other modifications will push the V8's output up to 400hp, the same as Ferrari's iconic 288 GTO.
Interior wise, Casil simply refreshes the classic leather interior with the addition of a few new race car parts throughout.
While they haven't mentioned a price tag, we can assume that with only 30 units being produced it total, it's not going to be cheap.
