With a lineage that dates back to the late 60's, the Toyota Mark X has been an iconic sports sedan for almost every generation since.
They say that all good things have to come to an end, and it seems that the Mark X has finally reached the end of the road as production is scheduled to end in December this year. Both the 250S and the 250S Four will receive a Final Edition update.
First releasing in 1968, the Toyota Mark II went through a bit of an identity crisis before finally being called the Cressida in 1977. Nine generations followed the Cressy until they were discontinued in 2004, making way for the modern Mark X.
We've seen two generations of the Mark X since, with the latest model releasing in 2009 and receiving multiple updates over the past decade.
Featuring quite a few interior and exterior components that set it apart from the other models, the Final Edition certainly sends the Mark X out with a bang. It sits on 18-inch dual spoke wheels, has an updated front bumper, and can be ordered in three classy colours: White Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic and Precious Black Pearl.
Looking at the interior, a two-tone black and red synthetic leather upholstery covers the seats and door cards, while the same red stitching can be found on the steering wheel and around the cabin.
Lastly, Toyota’s Intelligent Clearance Sonar with Rear Cross Traffic Alert comes as standard in the Final Edition.
