Tanner Foust and V8 Volkswagen Passat announced for 2016 Leadfoot Festival
Top Gear USA host, Formula Drift competitor, Global Rallycross champ, and Hollywood stunt driver Tanner Foust is the latest to be announced as attending the 2016 Leadfoot Festival, held in Hahei.
Foust will be bringing down the 900hp LS7-powered rear-wheel drive Rockstar Energy Volkswagen Passat that he has utilized in the 2015 Formula Drift series, though he only attended selected events.
The American is the second driver of a similar background announced over the last few weeks, with Rod Millen's son Rhys Millen confirmed in early December.

Foust boasts one of the longest and most varied resumes in motorsports. A dual Global Rallycross champion, Foust is an X Games gold medalist as a rally driver, complementing his own traditional rallying career — which is punctuated by a Rally America championship crown Foust claimed in 2005. He also became the Formula Drift Pro Drift champion in 2007, behind the wheel of a Nissan 350Z.
He has also stunt driven in several films, including the Dukes of Hazzard remake, Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift, and several installments of the Bourne film franchise.
Foust will be one of several drifters present at the event, lining up alongside Jodie Verhulst, Gaz Whiter, Curt Whittaker, and 'Mad Mike' Whiddett.
The 2016 Leadfoot Festival takes place on Rod Millen's incredible Hahei property on February 6–8.
