Summer is here, and the holidays are fast approaching and that means you'll have plenty of opportunity to sit back, relax, and binge on some quality vehicle-related content on Netflix.

To help you out we've assembled a list of five must-watch pieces of entertainment on Netflix. Check them out below:

Need for Speed

If you've got a thing for action cinema and cars then you have to check out this awesome flick. Starring Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul as street racer Toby Marshall, Need for Speed was a homage to classic car culture and high-speed chase scenes. And did we mention the cars. This film was packed out with everything from Marshall's 2013 Shelby GT500 to three very exclusive Koenigsegg Agera’s that can reach speeds of up 400 km/ph thanks to their 940 horsepower 5.0 Liter Twin-Turbocharged V-8 engines. Both Paul and co-star Dominic Cooper had to undergo intense driving training for their time on screen, and it all shows up in the intensity that the two actors brought to the film's amazing action set pieces.

Paul Hollywood's Big Continental Road Trip

If you're a fan of Top Gear then you definitely need to check out this series. Here noted celebrity chef and auto enthusiast Paul Hollywood travels to Italy, Germany and France to experience the best in car and cuisine culture. From high-speed Lamborghini’s to classic Porsche 911's, Hollywood samples them all, along with showing off his culinary skills in a series that makes for an enjoyable and heartfelt watch into one man's true passions.

Spectre

You can't have a complete movie car binge list without including James Bond, and Netflix subscribers can now treat themselves to the super spy's latest outing with 2015's Spectre. Daniel Craig once again returns as MI6 agent 007 James Bond, and he really gets to put his pedal to the mettle here. The film's climatic action sequence takes place in a pitch black Rome and finds Bond's Aston Martin DB10, with its 4.7 litre V8 engine, up against Dave Bautista's uber-villain Mr Hinx's Jaguar C-X75, which was converted to use an internal combustible engine instead of its hybrid engine for filming. The chase is certainly a thrill and in a neat bit of trivia over seven Aston Martin DB10s were used and crashed during the sequence at a total cost of $48 million dollars!

Bad Boys 2

If you're looking for summer-time cool then look no further than Michael Bay's blockbuster-sized combination of macho swagger, fast cars and bigger explosions in Bad Boys 2. Starring Martin Lawrence and Will Smith as undercover cops Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey, Bay cranked the adrenaline up to 100 with an ambitious and explosive car chase that was filmed on Miami's iconic freeways and saw Smith behind the wheel of a gorgeous 2002 Ferrari 575M Maranello. Smith pushed his driving skills to the limit and engaged the Maranello's 5.7 L Tipo F133E V12 engine for maximum speed as he and Lawrence swerved in and out of a bunch of flying cars that fell off the back of a car transporter! And what's more all of it was filmed live and in-camera with no added CGI.

Back to the Future

It wouldn't be Christmas without a trip back to this classic piece of Hollywood entertainment. It's the perfect watch for the whole family with the combination of Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly, Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown and that amazing time machine, the DeLorean. This highly modified 1983 DeLorean DMC-12 is still as iconic as ever and is featured in plenty of fast-paced scenes including the film's opening car chase and the climactic race to get Marty back to the future!
