Actor Norman Reedus has made a name for himself as crossbow wielding zombie killer Daryl Dixon on television sensation The Walking Dead, and now this modern day outlaw is ready to hit the open road in a new documentary that will explore motorcycle culture across the USA.
Called ‘Ride With Norman Reedus’, the six-episode docuseries will follow Reedus as he explores local motorcycle culture through six American cities with a new co-rider every week. Along the way Reedus will visit custom bike shops, tattoo parlors, and collector warehouses where he’ll showcase various types of bikes including vintage, minis and cruisers.
Reedus, a passionate bike aficionado who regularly posts images of his bikes to his social media channels, and got his start as a mechanic at a Los Angeles tune up shop called Dr. Carl’s Hog Hospital.
Reedus’ obsession for bikes has also made it onto The Walking Dead where he rides a customized1992 Honda CB750 Nighthawk.
The series will air in 2016 in the USA, and while there’s no NZ release as of yet, it’s likely to be released by the end of 2016 down here.
