Tesla opening here

The widely succesful Tesla Model 3 will soon be available to New Zealand customers with a retail site in the works for next year.

A statement released today said "In response to overwhelming demand for Model 3 and enthusiasm from owners who have imported their Tesla's into the country, Tesla has confirmed New Zealand as a future site for a Tesla Store and Service Center along with sites for Superchargers."

According to the release, Tesla Powerwall and Powerpack products will be available at the site.

The company will begin taking orders online from this November.

Tesla said they will immediately begin recruiting local talent ahead of the New Zealand launch.

This week it was reported that Tesla topped third quarter sales estimates after Elon Musk implored a boost from his staff in order to raise profit in order to ramp up production for the Model 3.
