Tesla Cyberquad for Kids

Stuck on what to get the kids for Christmas? How about their very own Tesla!

The upcoming Cybertruck may have been delayed until 2022, but the Cyberquad has made its debut on schedule, although it has come in a slightly different form.

Originally unveiled alongside the Cybertruck in 2019, the Cyberquad is an electric ATV designed to fit in the bed of the pickup. The Cyberquad was announced to arrive at the same time as the Cybertruck, but the brand has decided to go ahead with the ATV despite delays to the truck.

Tesla and Radio Flyer are in collaboration for this project, costing $1,900 USD (just shy of $3k NZD). The kids quad bike features a steel frame and a Cybertruck-inspired design with LED light bars. The ATV also has a cushioned seat, an adjustable suspension, and a rear disc brake.

It's powered by a removable 36V lithium-ion battery which is good for around 24km of range, which to be fair is pretty generous for a kids ride on. Tesla say the battery can be fully recharged within five hours using a normal household outlet. It also has a configurable top speed with settings for 8 km/h and 16 km/h.

It's designed for kids aged 8 and up, with a weight limit of 68 kg. Unfortunately though, the bike is fully sold out. So, you may have to keep thinking if you were planning on getting one of these for your kids this Christmas.
