- ARB has previewed off-road accessories for the Kia Tasman, including bull bars, skid plates and roof racks.
- Factory and aftermarket upgrades cover canopy options, suspension lifts and more.
- Kia plans hybrid and electric Tasman variants alongside existing ICE model.
Kia’s new Tasman ute hasn’t even launched in New Zealand yet, but the aftermarket is already gearing up for action.
Aussie 4x4 outfitter ARB has pulled the covers off a series of upgrades designed to turn Kia’s midsize pickup into a proper off-road brute, adding extra bite to the already bold-looking newcomer.
Built for bush bashing
The ARB lineup includes two styles of off-road bumpers, both sporting chunky skid plates and integrated recovery points.
One version goes all out with a bull bar that wraps around the front end and side steps - ready for serious trail duty (just steer clear of any kangaroos). There’s also provision for extra lighting, including LED units on the roof and grille to help light the way when dusk hits the desert.
Beyond the visual drama, ARB has teased beadlock wheels wrapped in all-terrain rubber and what looks to be a lifted ride height.
While the exact suspension tweaks haven’t been confirmed, it’s a fair assumption that ARB will offer lift kits or similar upgrades for the Tasman, as it does for many other popular utes.
Accessories for every adventure
More practical additions include a roof rack, bed cover, and a variety of tray and canopy configurations - ideal for tradies or weekend overlanders. One setup even shows a custom bed with twin spare wheels, a fold-out ladder and a secondary roof rack, transforming the back end into a mobile base camp.
This reinforces the Tasman’s dual mission: rugged enough for off-road adventuring, but with serious payload and versatility for daily work duties.
Kia’s own take on toughness

Kia isn’t sitting back either. The brand will offer a catalogue of factory-backed accessories ranging from sports bars and snorkels to off-road bumpers and canopy options.
The automaker has even floated the possibility of a performance-inspired Tasman WKNDR variant - a potential rival to the Ford Ranger Raptor.
Powertrain options are currently limited to combustion engines, but Kia has hinted at hybrid and electric variants joining the lineup in future model years.
With ARB on one side and Kia on the other, the Tasman is shaping up to be a ute with aftermarket legs and the toolkit to prove it.
