The expo promises a diverse range of options across multiple price points, reflecting the growing diversity and accessibility in the EV market.

Each brand will have representatives on-site to answer questions and provide detailed insights into their models, making it an ideal opportunity for potential buyers to gather information directly from industry experts.

In addition to the vehicles, local EV charger company Evnex will exhibit its advanced charging solutions, addressing one of the main concerns for those considering the switch to EVs - charging infrastructure.

Take Charge Events Limited Director, Kevin Crutchley, encourages anyone curious about EVs to attend, saying, "The Take Charge Expo is free to attend to encourage anyone with an interest in battery electric vehicles to come along and see first-hand the range of technology on display and ask questions of the expert exhibitors."

With prizes from exhibitors and an extensive lineup of models, the expo promises a comprehensive view into New Zealand's electrified future.

The Take Charge Expo is set to run from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, November 23, and from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 24. Entry is via the Cathedral Square entrance at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre.
