Designed and tested in New Zealand all the way back in 1995, the Suzuki DR200 Trojan now celebrates 20 years of hard-won success since its introduction.

With most of the development work carried out in the rural heartland of Wanganui it's no surprise that many of the outstanding features found on the Trojan continue to be well suited to New Zealand’s unique farming conditions.

Built in Japan, the Trojan has a quality of finish second to none.  With a large Quartz halogen headlight with protective cage being one of the most important and visible characteristics you will notice if an early start is part of your daily routine. For those who spend a lot of time in the saddle the Trojan's single shock rear suspension and long wheel travel has some real benefits.

Add to this electric starting and a large comfortable seat that accommodates most shapes and sizes and suddenly the Trojan is looking especially well-suited to on-farm duties.

The 199cc oil cooled four-stroke motor is whisper quiet and very economical with low gearing that enables the rider to follow stock efficiently and remain in control.  In the event the bike does fall over, the large oversize handle bar protectors and headlight guard are designed to protect vulnerable items.

Priced from$4,695 + GST and weighing in at only 132 kg, the Trojan won't break the bank or your back if it happens to topple over.

Suzuki Motorcycles NZ are celebrating by offering a no-obligation on-farm demonstration for those who are looking to upgrade the lastest version of the Trojan.
