Auckland City Toyota has expanded its presence with the launch of a new Mt Wellington "Super Store" – the brand's first in its network of more than 60 Stores across the country, with the official opening ceremony on Tuesday, December 12.
The Auckland City Toyota group says it now offers the largest selection of new and used Toyotas in NZ, with sites at Mt Wellington, Grey Lynn and Greenlane.
The new Super Store in Forge Way, Mt Wellington, is the largest Toyota dealership in NZ at more than 21,000 square metres, with over 250 Toyota Certified, Signature Class or used vehicles on site. The aftersales department is 1800sqm, with capacity for up to 33 service workshop bays.
Auckland City Toyota has been owned by Armstrong’s for over 10 years. Executive director, Rick Armstrong says: “We’re excited to launch this new Super Store... it's a special addition in the 16 dealerships we operate across NZ.
The Mt Wellington Super Store meets EnviroMark certification. Recycled materials were used throughout the building upgrade, including recycling the aluminium joinery. Lighting was upgraded to LED throughout, including the entire workshop facility. Water harvesting now captures the roof’s rainwater for use in the onsite car wash and wet bays, storing up to 20,000 litres.
To support the move to electrification, the new dealership has fully integrated EV charging capacity for 22 cars at any one time for our customers and employees to access.
