- Nearly 100 cars with a combined value of $125 million on display.
- Over 8000 visitors and a record $232,000 raised for Starship Foundation.
The third edition of the Starship Supercars Show held by Giltrap Group upped the ante for both attendance and money raised for paediatric health care specialist Starship Foundation.

The 2025 event at Giltrap headquarters on September 20-21 attracted more than 8000 visitors, who came to see a selection of rare and exotics cars on display with a combined value of more than $125 million.
The show raised a record $232,000 for Starship Foundation through ticket sales and a charity auction, taking the total raised since 2021 to over $635,000.
“A huge congratulations to the entire Giltrap team and all their supporters on the success of the third Starship Supercar Show," says Starship foundation CEO Joanna Simon. "Thank you for helping us to provide the very best care, equipment and innovation to children from every corner of Aotearoa. We are so grateful for your support”.

The 2025 event drew car fans from as far afield as Fiji. Several fans bought tickets for multiple sessions, with one fan posting online that they’d taken more than 900 photos during the show.
“The sheer joy on the faces of people who were greeted by an actual Formula 1 car as they walked in, to the excitement at seeing their dream car, was incredible,” says Michael Giltrap, executive director, Giltrap Group.
“Thanks to the generosity of the owners, we were able to put together a collection of 91 cars that was truly world-class. Some of these cars were worth several million dollars, but there was no hesitation in putting them on show, and in many cases, it was the owners who got in touch with us. I can’t emphasise enough, just how amazingly generous they, and the countless businesses, were in getting behind this event.”
