SsangYong Motor Company CEO Johng-sik Choi will unveil a new XAVL SUV concept at the 2017 International Geneva Motor Show.
XAVL is a further iteration of the XAV concept which was presented at the Frankfurt motor show in 2015.
Inspired by the classic Korando model of the 1990s, the XAVL long-wheelbase SUV presents a tougher image and masculine looking concept that promises to blend convenience and the practicality of a multi-purpose MPV.
The XAVL concept will accommodate seven passengers and provides wide inner space with a user-friendly interface that includes connected car technology and a digital display.
XAVL is also said to be equipped with a suite of new safety aids for pedestrians as well as the driver and passengers.
A production model of the SUV will follow, with both petrol and new clean-burning diesel engines.
