Leaked images have emerged of the Hyundai Venue, a small crossover that will probably slot in underneath the Kona in the Korean auto manufacturer's line-up.
Set to debut at the New York Auto Show later this month, the crossover has previously been called the Santa Fe's smaller sibling.
The photos first surfaced through numerous Indian publications, which hints at the model pictured being a local market example.
From the photos provided, we get a look at the front fascia, the rear end, the wheels, and the familiar looking dashboard. With a large infotainment system sitting between the air vents, and the large air conditioning controls, the whole unit looks a lot like the Santa Fe's dash.
Like the official teaser, a large Venue badge is visible on the tailgate, while the front end's looks are similar to those of the Santa Fe.
We can assume that it will be powered by Hyundai's 1.0-litre turbocharged T-GDI three-cylinder petrol engine from the large 'Turbo' logo on the corner of the tailgate. Transmission wise, both manual and automatic transmission options are expected along with a front-wheel drive powertrain.
Positioned under the Kona, the Venue will be Hyundai's smallest crossover and will come up against the Mazda CX-3 and the Nissan Duke.
Keep an eye out for the crossover which is expected to debut at the New York Auto Show on April 17.
