If the rumours of the performance orientated four-cylinder Mustang didn't tickle your fancy earlier this week, Roush's latest creation might be more up your alley.
The tuner revealed the Mustang Stage 3 will be on display at the New York Auto show later this month.
Finished in a gorgeous deep red, the Mustang's exterior modifications are the first thing that catches the eye — but luckily this pony has the go-fast parts to match.
Roush has slapped a Roush TVS R2650 supercharger on top of the 5.0-litre V8, which gives results that will leave Hellcats in awe. The engine now produces 529kW (710hp) and 827Nm of torque.
Matched only by Shelby's new GT500, which can go from 0-100km/h in just three seconds, this pony isn't horsing around.
Roush hasn't forgotten about the hot side of the engine either, the Mustang Stage 3 comes with an active exhaust system that offers four different exhaust settings. One of these modes is a 'Custom' mode that lets the driver adjust the exhaust note to their liking.
Adding an extended front splitter, new air intakes, and a bespoke grill, Roush has certainly upped the aggressiveness of the 'Stang. You'll also find new front and read spoilers, a vented hood, custom side skirts, and big black 20-inch wheels on the car.
No pricing has been announced just yet, but we can imagine that it'll be released at the New York Auto Show.
