As part of its ongoing 100th birthday celebrations for the iconic Phantom, Rolls-Royce has unveiled a limited edition of 25 vehicles to commemorate the centenary of its flagship model.
The “Phantom Centenary Private Collection” is described by the company as its most technically and artistically ambitious bespoke project to date and draws on "a century of design, engineering, and cultural history associated with the Phantom nameplate".

Each vehicle features a range of handcrafted elements, including embroidered textiles, laser-etched leather, and intricate woodwork. The rear seats alone incorporate over 160,000 stitches across 45 panels, developed in collaboration with a fashion atelier.
The design team spent a year researching the Phantom’s history, distilling their findings into 77 hand-sketched motifs. These motifs appear throughout the vehicle’s interior and exterior, including laser-etched leather and embroidered panels.

Among the standout features is the Spirit of Ecstasy figurine, cast in solid gold and hallmarked specifically for the centenary. The grille badge and other exterior elements are also finished in 24-carat gold and white enamel.
Inside, the Anthology Gallery - a sculptural centrepiece made of 3D-printed aluminium fins - displays quotes from a century of press coverage. The woodwork, which includes 3D marquetry and gold-leafed maps, depicts key journeys and locations from the Phantom’s past.
"We drew on an extraordinary range of sources - original texts, diaries, photographs and paintings - to create a composition that weaves together many threads of Phantom’s story," said Katrin Lehmann, Bespoke Colour and Material Designer for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

"New technology developed for this project, including 3D ink layering, allowed us to add details at a scale never before possible - some just 0.13 mm in height - from a boat sailing across the sea to location names on a map. It’s a privilege to have the time and technology to realise moments in Phantom’s history with the detail and precision the nameplate deserves."
Rolls-Royce says the Phantom Centenary Private Collection is "not just a tribute to the past but also a statement of Rolls-Royce’s continued commitment to craftsmanship and bespoke design". Each car is intended to serve as a collector’s item, reflecting the brand’s heritage and its vision for the future.
And, of course, if you have to ask the price...
