Rolls-Royce Motor Cars threw their support behind the British boys in blue last weekend with the most luxurious police car we’ve ever seen.
To support Sussex Police at the Chichester Police Station Open Day, Rolls-Royce created the one-off ‘Ghost Black Badge.’
The four-door luxury saloon, finished in Andalusian White, was dress in full Sussex police decals with authentic police lights and sirens on the roof.
A team of Rolls-Royce employees accompanied the Black Badge Ghost, collected donations for Chestnut Tree House, the children's hospice for Sussex and one of the company’s previous ‘house’ charities.
“We were delighted to support Sussex Police at the Open Day," siad Andrew Ball, Rolls-Royce Global Corporate Communications Manager.
"As a proud member of the local community, Rolls-Royce recognises the importance of the emergency services, including the Police. We were particularly pleased to see a number of our employees visiting the event with their families, and sharing their pride in the motor car they built.”
The car has now been returned to its normal livery, with lights and Sussex Police decals removed, dispelling rumours that it would be the first Rolls-Royce allocated to the Chief Constable.
What a shame, I wouldn't mind being detained in a police car with black and tan contrasting leather seats.
