Aussie Formula 1 pilot gets a taste of home at Sandown Raceway
Most race cars aren't like the 2016 Formula 1 platform, but few in the world could claim to be more radically different than Red Bull Racing Australia's own Holden 'Sandman'.
Of course, it's anything but a Sandman — effectively a rejigged Holden VF V8 Supercar underneath. But with Dan behind the wheel, cranking plenty of opposite lock through the corners, the matter becomes pretty obvious. Either way, Ricciardo's grin is as prominent as gleaming as ever. Could this be the first of several times we see him behind the wheel of the V8 Supercar?
