Kia has released the first teaser for its updated 2026 Sportage, set to debut in Korea this November.

Just three years after the launch of the fifth-generation model, the compact SUV is receiving a significant refresh, focusing on exterior design and interior technology improvements.

The teaser video highlights the Sportage’s new lighting signature, showcasing sharp, vertically stacked LED headlights that align with Kia’s current design language.

These redesigned headlights enhance the front's muscular appearance, paired with a reworked grille that gives the SUV a more assertive stance.

In contrast, the side profile remains largely unchanged, but the rear sports new, cleaner LED graphics for a more modern look.

These updates are expected across both the long-wheelbase version, aimed at markets like South Korea, North America, Australia and New Zealand, and the shorter-wheelbase version tailored for Europe.

While the teaser keeps the cabin design under wraps, previous spy shots have revealed significant changes.

A new dashboard setup with a large curved display promises a more advanced user interface. Additionally, a redesigned two-spoke steering wheel and updated controls are expected to offer a more refined driving experience.

This facelift strategy follows the same visual overhaul seen in recent Kia models, signalling a unified aesthetic as the brand moves towards an EV-focused future.

The 2026 Kia Sportage facelift aims to bring a fresh, modern look to the lineup, solidifying its position in the competitive compact SUV market.
