- Porsche has unveiled a Lunar New Year mural at its Porsche at Jewel store in Singapore.
- The artwork references the horse in the Porsche crest and the brand’s racing heritage.
- A Porsche 956 from the factory museum is displayed alongside the mural until March 2026.
Porsche has teamed up with Singaporean artist Priscilla Tey for a Lunar New Year mural commission called Spirit of Legends, unveiled ahead of the Year of the Horse and timed with Singapore Art Week 2026.
The large-scale artwork is installed at Porsche’s newly launched Porsche at Jewel retail store inside Jewel Changi Airport.

Rather than leaning on literal car imagery, Tey’s piece uses horses in expressive, abstract motion in an intentional nod to the animal at the centre of the Porsche crest.
The work also doubles as a neat bridge into Porsche’s own calendar: 2026 marks 75 years since the brand’s first 24 Hours of Le Mans class victory in 1951, achieved with a specially prepared 356 “Super Leicht”.
The horse in the crest

Porsche says the horse motif isn’t just festive symbolism. “The horse not only reflects the graceful performance and agility of our sports cars, it also marks the centre of the iconic Porsche crest – a tribute to the city of Stuttgart, our spiritual home, whose name was once derived from a small ducal stud farm, ‘Stuotgarten’,” said Yannick Ott, Director Marketing Porsche Asia Pacific.
Ott added: “Throughout our history, creativity has been the spark driving the Porsche brand forward and we are therefore delighted to continue our long-standing engagement around Singapore Art Week and collaborate with such gifted talent like Priscilla Tey.”
A 956 steals the spotlight

Anchoring the mural display is a genuine Porsche 956 (on loan from the Porsche Museum), shown at the “Culture Garage” within Porsche at Jewel. Porsche notes the 956 claimed four consecutive overall Le Mans wins from 1982 to 1985, and also set a Nürburgring Nordschleife lap record that stood for 35 years. The mural’s palette is designed to echo the 956’s famous blue, white, red and gold livery.
Tey says the goal was to keep it celebratory and layered: “It’s been meaningful to create a work that connects Porsche’s illustrious racing heritage with the festive spirit of the season”, she said. “I wanted the mural to feel joyful, a little magical, and unique – and I hope viewers can discover new details in each time they look.”
Merch, red packets and a long run

Alongside the mural, Porsche will release T-shirts, thermal flasks and keychains inspired by the artwork, plus limited-edition red packets designed by Tey. The mural remains on public display until the end of March, at the Porsche at Jewel store in Singapore.
