Three days, two premieres, one very big deal for Porsche fans
Porsche is gearing up for a busy November, confirming that its second fully electric SUV, the Cayenne Electric, will break cover first online, then in the Middle East’s biggest Porsche celebration.
The global digital reveal streams on November 19, followed by an in-the-metal debut at Dubai’s Icons of Porsche Festival from November 22.
A milestone model gets the EV treatment

The Cayenne has been the brand’s gateway for buyers wanting performance with everyday practicality since 2002. Now Porsche says the Electric version opens a “new chapter” for its long-running SUV, promising sharp driving dynamics, long-haul comfort and proper off-road capability.
Built on Porsche’s newest electric vehicle architecture, the model is set to lift the bar for EV-SUVs in performance, charging speed and digital tech.
The company hasn’t disclosed outputs, range or battery details yet, but pitches the Cayenne Electric as a complement rather than a replacement, sitting alongside petrol and plug-in hybrid variants.
Streaming first, sand dunes second

Porsche has confirmed a wide broadcast approach, with Porsche Newsroom, YouTube and LinkedIn all carrying the livestream, and the video will remain available on demand afterwards.
Then comes Dubai. The Icons of Porsche Festival is one of the brand’s biggest regional events; last year it drew around 28,000 enthusiasts. Porsche clearly sees the venue as the ideal stage for fans to see the Cayenne Electric up close for the first time.
A subtle hint at market expectations
While technical details remain wrapped tighter than the teaser car the single image, the messaging is clear: this isn’t a side project. The Cayenne Electric is shaping up as a core model designed to carry Porsche’s most commercially important SUV into its next era. If the Macan Electric is anything to go by, expect serious punch, rapid charging and a cabin rich in screens and software.
Porsche’s ability to blend heritage with new tech has kept its SUV lineup in demand for over two decades. The Cayenne Electric looks set to continue that run, and its two-stage world premiere suggests Stuttgart knows fans are ready for it.
