Though art cars might be BMW's thing, and Volkswagen has a claim to Harlequin creations, Porsche has teamed up with fashion icon Sean Wotherspoon to create an eye-catching Taycan.

Based on the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo, this wagon takes inspiration from Wotherspoon's sneaker design, but was built by Style Porsche which is the brand's in-house design team.

According to Porsche, this car is inspired by "South by Southwest", with each colour found on the exterior being named after member of the artist's family. Nash Blue, Sean Peach, Loretta Purple, and Ashley Green and the shades in question.

Interestingly, the car used is actually Wotherspoon's personal Taycan, with virtual reality tech being used to apply the colours to each panel before the process officially started.

The inside is just as wild as the outside with a combination of materials found throughout. Cork and Corduroy were generously used, but the team had to settle for laminated textures on the more tricky surfaces.

Parts from Porsche's Exclusive Manufaktur can also be found on the car, including the optional 21-inch wheels and rear wiper cover that are both finished in black.

For customers wanting to recreate this whole look, the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur’s Sonderwunsch program can be used, but those just wanting a colour shoud be able to option it as standard in the future.
