- The Cayenne S Electric delivers 400kW, enabling 0 to 100km/h in 3.8 seconds.
- A 113kWh battery provides up to 653km WLTP range and supports ultra-fast charging.
- Slotted between the Cayenne Electric and Turbo models, the S adds 165kW over the base model.
Porsche’s electric Cayenne lineup has grown with the arrival of the Cayenne S Electric: a mid-tier variant designed to sit neatly between the standard model and the flagship Turbo.
The new version blends serious performance with longer-distance usability, continuing the rollout of the brand’s fully electric SUV family.
The Cayenne Electric programme was first revealed last year, signalling Porsche’s intent to bring its best-selling SUV into the EV era. Now the S variant adds a more potent option for buyers wanting extra punch without stepping all the way up to the Turbo.
The middle child gets serious power

Under the skin, the Cayenne S Electric uses dual permanent-magnet synchronous motors driving all four wheels. System output sits at 400kW (up by 100kW over the standard model), but with Launch Control engaged the figure rises to 490kW, enough to propel the SUV from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
Top speed is rated at 250km/h, placing the Cayenne S firmly in sports-SUV territory despite its electric credentials. Porsche says the extra performance represents an increase of 165kW over the entry-level Cayenne Electric, giving the S model a clear step up in the range.
The drivetrain also introduces direct oil cooling for the rear electric motor, a system designed to handle sustained high loads by dissipating heat directly from current-carrying components.
Long legs and rapid charging

A 113kWh high-voltage battery powers the Cayenne S Electric, delivering a combined WLTP range of up to 653km.
When plugged into a suitably powerful fast charger, Porsche claims the battery can recharge from 10 to 80 percent in under 16 minutes, thanks to charging capability of up to 400kW under optimal conditions.
The model also features a brief Push-to-Pass boost, temporarily unlocking up to 90kW of additional power for 10 seconds during overtaking or spirited driving.
Sharper looks and more personalisation

Visually, the Cayenne S Electric adopts unique front and rear styling elements along with 20-inch Cayenne S Aero wheels. Exterior details such as inserts and diffusers are finished in body colour, while Volcano Grey Metallic accents help differentiate the model from other variants.
Buyers can also add high-end hardware previously reserved for the Turbo model, including Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, Porsche Active Ride suspension, and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes.

Porsche is also introducing curated design packages under its Exclusive Manufaktur ‘Style’ line, starting with a new Interior Style Package featuring two-tone leather in black and Delgada Green, coordinated stitching, and colour-matched cabin details.
The Cayenne S Electric is available to order now, expanding Porsche’s electric SUV family with a variant that aims to strike a balance between everyday usability and the brand’s trademark performance.
