Peugeot UK launched the new Black Eddition with their latest brand ambassador, British rally champion Catie Munnings.
Last year at the age of 18, Munnings became the first female British driver to win a European Rally title in almost half a century, becoming the 2016 FIA Ladies European Rally Champion driving a Peugeot 208 R2.
“I’m very excited to kick start my next chapter with Peugeot”, said Munnings.
“There are some exciting projects in the pipeline that I‘m thrilled to be a part of. I think the Peugeot 208 Black Edition is a brilliant car too. It looks and feels great and I really think its sporting appeal sets it apart – it’s basically any young person’s dream car”
"Catie’s achievements speak for themselves and her knowledge of the Peugeot brand’s sporting heritage means bringing her on board as one of our ambassadors was a natural next step,” added David Peel, Managing Director at Peugeot UK.
"Catie is no stranger to the Peugeot 208 either having driven it extensively in rally car guise, and the new Black Edition gives buyers more choice with a striking but sophisticated styling package and the latest connectivity technology.”
