Defending New Zealand Rally Championship winner and all-round GC Hayden Paddon has whipped the covers off his new-look Hyundai i20 AP4+ for the 2019 season.
It's admittedly not too different from his 2018 weapon, save for a dash of green. But, the new livery does underline extended support from the likes of Z Energy, Pak'N'Save, Würth, and of course Hyundai New Zealand.
Hyundai confirmed their continued support of Paddon last month, with the confirmation at Paddon Rallysport would be taking on three NZRC events — Rally Otago, the International Rally of Whangarei, and the South Canterbury Rally.
“Hayden is an exceptional individual with business nous and sporting prowess," said Hyundai New Zealand General Manager Andy Sinclair at the time.
"We, along with our nationwide dealer network, have been proud to support Hayden’s national and international endeavours over the last four years. Our commitment to Hayden and his team is unquestionable and we are thoroughly excited about the busy year ahead and our collective aspirations.
“We were disappointed for Hayden when he did not secure a contract with Hyundai Motorsport, however he is talented and driven and has a long future in motorsport ahead of him.”
