I remember the first time I hopped into a car with electric seats, thinking to myself 'wow, technology is amazing.'
Now, we're spoiled with car features. Whether it's the huge screens that feature in most new luxury cars, the Range Rover Velar's stupendous door handles, or autonomous capabilities — cars right now are at a level where even the most basic car on the market is light years ahead of where we used to be.
But, there are certain features that you just know will never drip down to cars that your mum might buy. And the gold (yep, actual gold) on Koenigsegg's newly unveiled one-off Agera RS Gryphon might just take the cake.
The body on this special Agera, which itself is already perfectly insane to the eye, comes with 24-carat gold leaf accenting. This accenting covers the stripes, badges, interior, and engine cover struts, and appears to not really serve any purpose than making the driver look cool as all heck.
The car is reportedly owned by Manny Khoshbin, a rather successful (to put it lightly) real estate agent based in California. A quick glance at his Instagram profile and website shows that he owns more than a couple of supercars, including a couple of Bugatti Veyrons, McLarens, and a Pagani Huayra.
So what else is special about the Gryphon? Well, it comes with Koenigsegg's optional 1MW twin-turbo V8 engine, which comes with increased power over the standard donk.
The interior also gets a touch of 'class' (we'll let you be the judge), with the addition of more gold accents as well as special Gryphon embroidery on the seat backs.
We haven't seen any reference to pricing anywhere, but you can probably rest assured that it'll be quite expensive.
