It's been confirmed that the new 2023 Acura Integra will have a six-speed manual transmission.
The brand has released a teaser video that gives us a taste of what's to come, including a high-revving engine noise.
The models comeback was announced in August, but since then, details have been scarce. An image showing the rear three-quarter angle cast doubts amongst Acura fans, as it revealed the cars five-door liftback design.
While not confirmed, rumours have made the rounds that the car will get the Honda Civic Type R's turbocharged 2.0-litre, which combined with the six-speed manual transmission and the driving dynamics we know the Honda - and by extension, Acura - are capable of, it looks like the driver experience of the Integra will more than make up for the amount of doors.
Acura have said the car will enter into production sometime next year, but the carmakers haven't said when exactly this will be.
