Mercedes-Benz has offered another glimpse of its upcoming electric VLE people-mover, with the brand confirming a global livestream for the model’s long-awaited debut later this month.
The new VLE will make its official world premiere on March 10 in Stuttgart, with Mercedes inviting viewers worldwide to watch the unveiling online.
A van with limousine ambitions

Mercedes-Benz positions the VLE as something slightly different from a traditional people-mover. The company says the model blends the driving comfort and dynamics of a limousine with the versatility typically associated with MPVs.
That positioning hints at a vehicle designed to bridge the gap between luxury passenger cars and large multi-seat transporters, potentially appealing to both private buyers and premium shuttle services.
A flexible eight-seat layout

Inside, the VLE will offer seating for up to eight occupants, with Mercedes highlighting a cabin designed to adapt to a variety of lifestyles.
According to the company, the vehicle is intended to work equally well as a family transport option, an activity-focused lifestyle vehicle or a high-end passenger shuttle.
First of a new van generation

The VLE is also notable for what sits underneath it. The model will be the first vehicle built on Mercedes-Benz’s new modular, flexible and scalable Van Architecture, which is set to underpin future van models from the brand.
Mercedes describes the VLE as marking the beginning of a new era for its van lineup, though full technical specifications, including battery capacity, power outputs and range, remain under wraps ahead of the reveal.
For now, the spotlight remains firmly on the upcoming launch event, where Mercedes-Benz will finally lift the covers on one of its most anticipated electric vans yet.
