Mercedes-Benz is expanding its popular Classics & Coffee event for 2026, turning the Stuttgart museum grounds into a weekly gathering spot for classic and modern enthusiasts alike.
Running from April 12 to October 11, the event will take place across 26 Sundays, with organisers promising more experiences, themed showcases and interactive activities than previous years.
More than just a car meet

At its core, Classics & Coffee remains a relaxed, open-format meet where owners of vehicles aged 20 years or older can show up without registration. But for 2026, the format is clearly evolving.
New additions include pre-event evenings with DJ sets, technical talks and expanded access to expert advice on restoration, servicing and genuine parts. Visitors can also expect ride-alongs in historic Mercedes models and test drives in current vehicles.
The scale is already significant. In 2025, the event drew nearly 11,500 cars and more than 28,000 visitors, which help explain why Mercedes is doubling down on the concept.
A packed calendar of themes

Each Sunday brings a different focus. Highlights include a season opener celebrating 140 years of automotive innovation, a dedicated S-Class showcase, and themed days for AMG, motorsport and commercial vehicles.
There’s also space for broader enthusiast culture. A Youngtimer day ties into the museum’s 20th anniversary, while other events spotlight cabriolets, camper vehicles and the long-running G-Class.
Some sessions go beyond static displays. Motorsport-themed days will feature engine start-ups of historic race cars, while others include guest appearances such as Formula One safety car driver Bernd Mayländer.
Classics, with a digital twist

The 2026 programme also leans into engagement. A digital membership system returns with new loyalty rewards, allowing regular attendees to collect points and unlock perks, including museum passes and display opportunities.
Inside the museum, visitors can step into high-end simulators to drive classic Mercedes models on historic circuits, adding a modern layer to the heritage-focused event.
With free entry and no booking required, Classics & Coffee continues to strike a balance between accessibility and depth: part social gathering, part rolling museum, and increasingly, a full-day motoring experience.
