Mayweather is the highest-paid sportsman in the world, earning around $US300m) a year.

Obi Okeke, who helps Mayweather look after his collection, told MailOnline that the undefeated champion was just 48 hours away from clinching the deal on the ultra-rare car in June.

His latest purchase can go from zero to 60mph in just 2.9 seconds and has a staggering maximum speed of 250mph.
