- Porsche's Manthey Kit for the 911 GT3 increases total downforce to 540kg at 285km/h in track mode.
- The kit includes four-way adjustable coilover suspension and lighter forged wheels.
- The upgraded 911 GT3 lapped the Nurburgring 2.8 seconds faster than its predecessor.
Porsche has unveiled the new Manthey Kit for the latest 911 GT3 (992.2), pushing the already razor-sharp track car even closer to race spec.
Developed jointly by Porsche’s Weissach engineers and Manthey Racing in Meuspath, the upgrade bundle brings more downforce, sharper suspension and tougher brakes, resulting in a Nurburgring lap time of 6:52.981 minutes, trimming nearly three seconds off the previous Manthey-equipped model.

While the Weissach Package already catered to hardcore enthusiasts, this new kit takes things further. The aerodynamic rework alone gives the GT3 up to 540kg of downforce at 285km/h in track-only mode (355kg in road mode).
Much of this comes from an extended underbody, a larger front lip and diffuser setup, a revised rear wing with a Gurney flap, and carbon-fibre “aerodisc” wheel covers that smooth airflow around the rear wheels.
Wings, springs and things

Underneath, Porsche and Manthey have co-developed a four-way adjustable coilover suspension, tuned for serious circuit use. The dampers can be fine-tuned for rebound and compression without tools and slightly stiffer springs (10% firmer at the front) complement the added aero load.
Lighter 20- and 21-inch forged wheels cut unsprung mass by 6kg, while braided steel brake lines and optional PCCB racing pads provide endurance-ready stopping power.

Manthey’s Managing Director, Nicolas Raeder, said the team spent over a year refining the kit: “We worked with the Porsche engineers to develop the new Manthey Kit and did a lot of detailed work in the wind tunnel. We’ll make another attempt next year in better weather to demonstrate the full potential.”
DTM champion Ayhancan Güven, who set the lap, added that the car now feels “very easy to control and provides the driver with even more confidence”.
Personalised performance

For those who want a bit of visual flair with their lap times, Manthey offers optional extras including carbon-fibre door sills, LED logo projectors and coloured tow straps for when you’ve really been pushing your luck on track days.
The kit will be available through Porsche Centres from March 2026, with the factory warranty unaffected. In short, the Manthey Kit turns the GT3 from a fast road car into a bona fide track-day missile - just the way the faithful like it.
