Try as they might, Manor F1 could not be saved in time for the 2017 season, and now the final nail in the coffin has been hammered as all of Manors assets go up for auction.

Everything from machinery, merchandise and over 200 wheels will be sold to pay creditors and administrators of the failed Formula 1 team.

Just how committed Manor was to being on the grid this year is best depicted by one of the more intriguing lots in the auction – a 6:1 wind tunnel model of Manor’s planed 2017 vehicle that was still being worked on only three weeks ago.

Also included in the action are four “rolling chassis show cars” that will be sold without a power plant or gearbox.

Gordon Brothers from the UK are running the action. Here’s the full list, as published on their site.

  •          4 x Manor Racing Formula 1 Rolling Chassis Show Cars (2015/2016)

  •          2017 Manor Formula 1 Wind Tunnel Model (6:1)

  •          Pit Lane Equipment

  •          Manor Racing Drivers and Race Team Clothing & General Merchandise

  •          Test Jigs, Engineering & Inspection Equipment

  •          Large Quantity of Consumables

  •          5 x Formula 1 Car Steering Wheels

  •          2014/2015/2016 Car Parts to include 3 x Tubs, over 200 Wheel Rims, Tyres, Nosecones, Panels, Engine Covers, Rear Wings etc.

  •          2 x Pop Up Trailers and Hospitality Trailer

  •          Gazebo’s, Banner Boards, Flight Cases & Freight Cages

If you’ve ever wanted to hang a F1 nosecone or steering wheel on your wall, you may never have a better opportunity to fulfil your man shed dreams.
