Automotive retailer Armstrong's Group has opened a new Lexus dealership on Ti Rakau Drive, Botany, Auckland. It's the first Lexus facility for Armstrong's, the Japanese luxury marque joining 17 other brands in the Group.

The dealership is located within what can only be described as an Armstrong's "precinct" on Ti Rakau. It was officially opened by the Right Honourable Christopher Luxon, Rick Armstrong, Armstrong's CEO Troy Kennedy, Lexus New Zealand vice president Andrew Davis, and acting Toyota/Lexus NZ CEO Tatsuya Ishikawa.

The dealership is open to the public from Saturday, March 1.

It's mostly about the cars of course, but also about the lounge.

Built on a 7000sqm site, the 600sqm showroom features a large customer lounge, barista café, dining area and business spaces. There's a dedicated parts and service centre, as well as a full-service tyre centre.

The new dealership was designed by architects Chow:Hill, creator of several other Armstrong’s projects.

To mark the grand opening, Lexus of East Auckland is offering a series of promotions, including 0% finance with a 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 payment plan on new Lexus vehicles (excluding the RZ model) and 20% off vehicle servicing.

"Omotenashi", by the way, is a Japanese ethos meaning to wholeheartedly care for guests and anticipate the needs of others. It's often quoted by Lexus as a guiding principle.
