LDV New Zealand is raising the bar in the commercial vehicle market with a new, industry-leading 7-year warranty package, effective from January 1, 2025.
This enhanced offering applies across the brand’s entire range, covering internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicles (EVs) as LDV aims to support more Kiwi families and businesses.
The warranty includes seven years or 200,000 km for ICE vehicles and seven years or 160,000 km for EVs, whichever comes first.
Additional benefits include seven years of roadside assistance and Warrant of Fitness (WOF) inspections, delivering greater peace of mind for owners throughout a given new vehicle's lifecycle.

According to Kym Mellow, General Manager of Inchcape New Zealand, the local distributor of LDV, the initiative reflects LDV’s dedication to customer satisfaction. “This 7-year warranty, 7-year roadside assistance, and 7-year WOF coverage is a significant step in enhancing the confidence our customers have in their purchase,” Mellow stated.
“LDV vehicles continue to help Kiwi businesses work harder every day, and this warranty package reflects our commitment to providing peace of mind and support throughout a customer’s ownership journey."
Coverage details and terms

The comprehensive warranty covers manufacturing defects caused by issues such as design, assembly, or raw materials in specified parts.
To remain valid, vehicles must adhere to the service schedule outlined in the Service & Warranty Booklet. Routine maintenance, wear-and-tear, and damages caused by misuse are excluded.
The WOF inspections commence from the third year and are included annually through the seventh year when performed at authorised LDV service centres.
This milestone move positions LDV as a reliable partner for both commercial enterprises and families, whether they require rugged utes like the T60, dependable people-movers such as the Mifa 9 or cutting-edge EVs like the eT60 ute.
