Eggleston Motorsport have revealed the new look for the Holden VF Commodore that New Zealand's Dominic Storey will race in this year's Dunlop Super2 Development Series.
Debuting in Super2, Storey will be backed by the support of Auckland-based textile company Autex. This is a continuation of the partnership the pair had during two seasons in Australia's GT Championship categories.
Autex is joined by fellow Auckland-based company Zoono, as well as Data Express, JMC, dormakaba, and Saint Works.
“I'm really excited to join Super2 with a team like EMS,” Storey said earlier this month.
“We have a great relationship from the past two seasons in GT and along with my long-term sponsors, Autex, I am excited about the new challenge.
"It has been something I've worked towards for a few years now and to progress into Super2 after winning the Australian Endurance Championship last year is a great step for my career.
“I would like to especially thank Peter Hackett for giving me the opportunity in 2016 and 2017 to help prove I have the ability to take this next step in my career, along with all my supporters for staying with me.”
Storey is one of two New Zealanders on the Super2 grid, with Chris Pither returning to the series with a Gary Rogers Motorsport–prepared Holden VF Commodore. Round one of the series takes place at the Adelaide 500 in two week's time.
