Kia is teasing three important (and very different) new EV models ahead of a reveal at its second-ever "EV Day", on February 27.

Kia EV Day 2025.
Will the EV4 keep its radical styling for production? Looks like it.

The event will take place at Tarraco Arena in Tarragona, Spain. It will mark the global debut of the Kia EV4 fastback sedan, unveiled in concept from at the brand’s first EV Day in 2023 (think of it as a rival to the Tesla Model 3), and the Concept EV2, a prototype of a city model that will fit under the new EV3.

The company says the event will also "underscore Kia’s role as a Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) first mover. It presents a vision of a new paradigm in EV usability with vehicles that offer users exceptional flexibility through radical modularity."

Translation: it's got a new skateboard platform that can go underneath all different kinds of vehicles.

If it looks a bit vanny, that's probably what it is: Kia's PBV.

Kia will share its overall PBV strategy, providing full details of the business, vision, product line-up, and launch to support the roll-out of the PV5.
