Finally, fans of Top Gear can see the final lap of Jeremy Clarkson in Top Gear in a two-hour finale which was filmed ahead of his departure from the show after he abused a producer.

The episodes - which TV3 is screening together - mark the end of the BBC motoring show's 22nd season before new host Chris Evans takes over with two as-yet-unnamed co-hosts.

"I hate working on Top Gear," laments Clarkson during the finale - while stuck in a muddy river - as he, Richard Hammond and James May are sent out on their final challenges together.

One involves playing traditional classic car enthusiasts driving affordable classics including a Fiat 124 Spyder, a Peugeot 304 Cabriolet and an MGB GT and a trek that involves "brown beer, breakdowns and a hair-raising classic car show".

Meanwhile, Prime revisits the show's good old days in Top Gear: Ambitious But Rubbish (Sundays 7.30pm). Hammond wanders through their archives of silly stunts.
