Nissan earnt the respect of classic car lovers everywhere when they announced that Nismo would be putting older parts back into production just a couple of years ago.
The popular Japanese manufacturer earnt even more brownie points over the weekend after they announced plans to start producing parts for their most popular engine again.

The RB26, first found in the R32 GT-R, served as the powerplant for all three generations of Skyline GT-R models before Nissan moved on to the VR38 for the R35.
Coming out of the factory with an extremely tune-friendly 276hp, the 2.6-litre twin-turbo engine quickly became a favourite in tuning circles due to its ability to yield big results.
Nissan's legendary straight-six engine is the latest addition to the Nismo Heritage Parts program, which started in 2017 with rubber trims and engine hoses for the R32, before moving to produce parts for every other Skyline GT-R.
You'll now be able to source new blocks, cylinder heads, wipers, wiper motors and window washer fluid tanks for these cars.
According to Nismo's price list, you'd be looking at around $2250 NZD for a new R32 block, and $2485 for the head — R33 and R34 parts are a little more expensive.

As well as the new engine additions, Nismo is also offering body pieces including roof panels and quarter panels.
While it might seem like an April fools joke, we can assure you that it isn't — the parts are available for delivery from the 1st of April!
