Kiwi Mitch Evans is preparing for the new 2021 Formula E season in Santiago, Chile in January. We chat with the European-based Aucklander, in England, about the improvements allowed and made to his 2021 Formula E Jaguar race car, and what EV technology is making its way from his race car to road cars.

We also ask about Fanboost and how he can get fans literally helping him with a power boost in a race, how old he was when he started looking down on his older brother – and 2020 Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy champion brother – Simon, and his dad (and NZ speed record holder) Owen Evans.

See Simon Evans interview after winning the 2020 championship here.

And to finish off, we put Mitch under the heat-lamp and grille him on his historical knowledge of Jaguar with a three-round pop quiz of ‘How well does Mitch Evans know Jaguar’… (with a caveat that he’s only 26…).
