- Local crowd of 15,400 for Hot Wheels Live show in Dunedin.
- Life-sized versions of popular Hot Wheels toys perform stunts.
- Next stop Wellington, then Auckland in October.
The first Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live show for New Zealand, at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin, attracted a crowd of more than 15,000 over the weekend (September 20).

"Dunedin, you absolutely showed out! A sell-out crowd at Forsyth Barr Stadium of 15,400 fans created an electric atmosphere that kicked off our NZ tour in style," says Nathan Brown, from tour promoter TEG Sport.
CEO Dunedin Venues Paul Doorn says the Forsyth Barr Stadium was thrilled to be the launch pad for the debut of the tour: "As a venue, our goal is to bring people together to have a good time and create memories,” he says. “What I loved most was seeing families in the stands - kids in awe and parents just as excited.”
Following Dunedin, the show shifts to the capital, at Wellington’s Sky Stadium on Saturday, 27 September. Then it's to Auckland on Saturday, 4 October, followed by a tour finale on Sunday, 5 October.
Organisers say tickets are still available for Wellington (27 September), and Auckland (4-5 October) via Ticketek.
