  • Last Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live shows at Eden Park.
  • Kennards Hire Sounds Sensitivity Stations expected to dispense 14,000 ear plugs.
  • Show has visited Dunedin, Wellington and now Auckland.

Attendees at this weekend's (October 4-5) Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live shows at Eden Park in Auckland hopefully won't go home with their ears ringing. Park management and Kennards Hire have installed two new Sound Sensitivity Stations in time for the show, in addition to existing portable and South Stand stations.

Up to 14,000 of these ear plugs are expected to be dispensed at Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live.

“Kennards Hire Sound Sensitivity Stations” are free-to-use, dispensing earplugs to stadium-goers on a self-service basis. They're particularly popular at events where children are in attendance.

The upgrades have been made at Eden Park after the huge popularity of similar Stations at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin during the inaugural Hot Wheels Show on September 20, where 7000 ear plugs were dispensed in just 30 minutes.

It’s estimated that 14,000 ear plugs will be distributed at the Auckland events.
